High-performance plastics
High-performance plastics like PSU, PPSU, PAI, PES and PEI typically have a permanent operating temperature of more than 150°C. It is this material class that brings the superior properties of polymers – such as sliding friction characteristics, weight saving and chemical resistance – to bear, especially at high permanent operating temperatures. Using special reinforcing materials such as glass fibre, glass beads or carbon fibre, heat distortion resistance and rigidity can be increased even further. Additives such as PTFE and graphite considerably improve the sliding and friction characteristics, and the addition of metal fibres and carbon black provide improved electrical conductivity.
Construction plastics
One of the key factors in favour of using plastics in plant construction is their excellent resistance to a large number of aggressive chemicals. With PE 100, PP, PVC and PVDF we supply an extensive range of materials to match highly demanding applications in the chemical process industry and help to counteract damage due to corrosion.
Furthermore, these plastics have a very low weight and are easily machinable.
Duroplast materials

Novotex, GPO-3, Vetronit, Resitex, Carta-M, Umabord, Ferrozell, Celeron, Tufnol, Etronit, Etronax … all these are specific product names.
These materials have excellent electrical insulation and mechanical properties. Furthermore they have good weathering resistance, chemical stability, breaking strength, heat resistance and a high thermomechanical strength, all combined with a very low specific gravity. These are impressive parameters enabling thermosets to be used in a variety of industries.
